Do you have a particular area of interest in collision investigation?
Nick - Driven Forensics • 17 January 2024

Driven Forensics specialises in the forensic inspection of vehicles. We have the capability to inspect pedal cycles, cars, motorcycles, light commercial vehicles, heavy commercial vehicles, buses and trailers.

Aside from the physical inspection of vehicles, we are increasing our capability to interegate a vehicles onboard systems. This includes capturing diagnostic data, freeze frame data, collision data (stored in a vehicles event data recorder (EDR)) as well as exploring methods for capturing visual and data evidence from vehicles fitted with ADAS (advanced driver-assistance systems).

Given that our particular area of interest is vehicle borne data, we are actively researching what information a modern vehicle may have, how best to capture it and whether there are ways to validate the data.
